Server Specifications:

Processors: This unit has 2 Six-Core L7455 2133 12M Cache 1066Mhz Processors Installed. The R900 takes up to 4 six-core or four-core 64bit Xeon 7400 series processors as well as Quad Core 7300 Series or Dual Core 7200 Series Processors.
Memory: 16GB installed. (8x2GB). The Dell R900 has 4 memory risers with 8 slots each for a total of 32 dimm slots. The maximum memory is 8GB x 32 or 256GB. Both 667Mhz or 1333Mhz dimms will function in this machine.
I/O Slots: 7 PCI-E Slots, 4 at 8x, 3 at 4x.
Raid Controller: 6i Installed. 6/ir (SAS Controller) or 6/E (Raid Card for external storage) optional.
Hard Drives: The Dell R900 unit is produced in 2 models: one with 8 2.5" Drive Bays and one with 5 3.5" Drive Bays. This unit is the 2.5" version and has 3 x 146GB 2.5" SAS hard drives installed. The R900 takes a variety of SAS and SATA hard drives.
